What is Nano Coating? Nano coating is a process where PTFE is added to plasma, which is then sprayed on the surface of the wire bundle.

The result is a super fine coating (1000x finer than the thickness of a human hair) that penetrates deep into the wire strands rendering the surface super slick, with lowest friction possible and incidentally, also water repellent.

In short it delivers shift cables with the best efficiency possible.
